Anthony Manal Castro is a visual artist and designer who was born in Romblon, Philippines and raised in San Jose, California. At the heart of Castro's artworks is an improvised  play, inspired by the grid, diagrammatic structures fused with decorative motifs and fragmented letterforms producing complex and arresting abstractions. After completing his MFA studies at the Claremont Graduate University in Los Angeles, Castro made a capricious move to Prague, Czech Republic where he made his way creating large graphic murals and visual presentations for dance club spaces. This period was foundational for his future work in creating visual aesthetics and super graphics for interiors, retail spaces and store fronts including Saks Fifth Avenue, The Museum Of Modern Art and the popular Pinoy eateries, Jeepney and Maharlika.

Cynthia Alberto is an artist and teacher. A graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC, she studied textile/surface design with a specialization in weaving. Her work as a weaver and fiber artist bridges traditional and contemporary forms of weaving. Cynthia works with conventional weaving materials as well as wire, hair and other unorthodox textiles. Much of Cynthiaʼs work is grounded in the tradition of backstrap weaving. Over the years, sheʼs worked with weavers from around the world, including Mayan weavers in Guatemala and Indonesian artisans in Flores Island. In 2007, Cynthia founded Weaving Hand — a studio and healing arts center in Brooklyn, NY. Weaving Hand honors global weaving traditions and raises awareness of the therapeutic nature of weaving. Today, Weaving Hand's partnerships extend around the world —from Tibet to the Philippines; from Nepal to Toronto. As a healing arts center, Weaving Hand has introduced thousands of people with disabilities to the psychological and physiological rewards of weaving.
